On the 26th of April 2024, Pernille van der Plank (Taskleader within Floating Future) delivered her inaugural lecture as Professor of Property Law at the Open Universiteit. The theme was particularly fascinating and relevant, namely: “Water lease as water law: On the private law right to water plots”. This is perhaps the subject that has the most misunderstanding within the floating construction sector.
